Richard Gibson has worked at UC Berkeley as a lecturer and Director of Science Programs for their Student Learning Center for more than twenty years. He has also worked in the school of education, training future teachers in math and science. In addition, Richard has privately tutored high school and college students in chemistry, physics, math, and statistics . He has won numerous awards, including a volunteer of the year award, UC Berkeley's "Everyday Hero" award, and the Nikki Kose Memorial Teaching prize for his innovative curriculum design.
