Joshua Lincecum

(He/Him)

I began teaching history and social sciences in 2017 at the International High School of New Orleans. Since that time, I have facilitated courses in US History, US Government and Economics, World Geography, and Louisiana state history. I have also taught a range of grades and ages, from sixth grade to high school seniors.

I trained as a historian at the University of New Orleans, where I was awarded a Master of Arts degree in History. My focused area of study was 19th century US history. Please ask me about futures derivatives in Southern commodities exchanges.

Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, I now live in Petaluma, California with my partner (Gillian) and daughter (Neve).

My TMS career began in 2018 and am excited to be teaching Introduction to Humanities and Modern World History in the fall as well as World Geography in the spring. In addition, I serve as the faculty advisor for the TMS student leadership team.
