(She/Her)

I was born in Indiana, but grew up in many different places, including Massachusetts, Norway, California, and Maryland. After high school, I returned to my home state to study Art History at Indiana State University where becoming a Resident Advisor in my junior year changed my career path entirely; the experience awakened in me a passion for education. I earned my Masters degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education and began a 20+ career as a faculty member and administrator at schools such as the University of Wyoming and the University of Michigan, Golden Gate University and Skyline College.

These institutions helped me to gain invaluable experience in leadership development, behavioral, health, and wellness services, crisis intervention, mediation, and conflict resolution, all the while deepening my dedication to creating educational opportunities that advance accessibility, equity, and inclusion.

In 2020, I changed my focus slightly to K-12 Special Education, teaching students with learning differences at Star Academy in San Rafael. Now at the Marin School, I am excited to integrate my varied experiences as an educator to partner with the students, families, faculty, and staff of TMS. When I’m not teaching, I’m usually gaming, enjoying nature, appreciating art, or making music with my wife and twins.
