Cosplay Alert!

TMS Junior "Crash" (aka Kimberly D.) is a HUUUUGE fan of cosplay - creating props and costumes from some of her favorite fictional works. In FabLab, she has been working diligently on Jack Frost's staff form the movie "Rise of the Guardians".

After designing a real world version based on imagery from the movie, she combined PVC pipe, EVA foam strips, liquid plastic and special paint effects to a make a really nice replica prop!

Crash completed the rest of the costume at home, then put it all together for a special photo shoot in the snowy forests around Lake Tahoe during a recent ski trip. The result was a pretty dead-on recreation of the original character. Cosplay WIN! Great job Crash!!
