Small School gets a big boost from Steve Jobs fans

The Marin School, a small independent college-prep high school, received a big surprise Thursday afternoon (Thursday, April 30th).

Business and technology news website Business Insider posted an article after discovering an interesting item on the school's online auction fundraiser—three business cards owned and used by Steve Jobs. The cards were donated to the Bidding for Good auction by a family associated with the school.

Business Insider's article was picked up by multiple e-news sites and ultimately became a trending topic on Twitter, spurring a bidding war that may well continue until the auction closes during The Marin School's Gala on Saturday, May 9.
