Social Studies & Student Activities

Hello! I am Joshua and I teach 9th and 11th grade social sciences at The Marin School. I have taught 6-12 grade social sciences for the past three years as a certified teacher in the State of Louisiana. My experience includes teaching courses in American history, American government, world geography, and local history. I studied the history of the New South at the University of New Orleans, where I was awarded a Master of Arts degree. I recently moved to Petaluma with my wife, and we are ecstatic to be expecting that our first child was born in December of 2019. I enjoy working with such a mindful group of students and faculty and look forward to the budding friendships that are to come.
