Beyond the Classroom
The Marin School offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities, many of which are unique to our small-school environment.
International travel
The Marin School has a rich history of international travel opportunities. Trips vary from year to year, but past offerings have included Barcelona, Ghana, Ecuador, France, and Sierra Leone.
fall trips
In late September, each grade level takes a two-day retreat with an emphasis on team-building, leadership, conflict resolution, communication skills and to strengthen their sense of community.
outside the walls
The Marin School's Outside the Walls program immerses students in intensive experiential learning that furthers their education intellectually, interpersonally, and physically. In addition to promoting bonding within The Marin School community, the programs provide opportunities for students to step outside of their comfort zones, engage with communities beyond our campus walls, and collaborate closely with their adult mentors.
