Each day we will do a walk-about through a different neighborhood -  

• Learning the history of the people who have lived there.
• Exploring the amazing variety of bookstores, and picking the perfect book to capture the spirit of:                   
  • THE MARINA
  • MISSION AND THE CASTRO HAIGHT-ASHBURY
  • JAPANTOWN AND THE FILLMORE
  • RICHMOND AND THE SUNSET DISTRICTS  

Lunches will focus on the different cuisines representing the ethnic past or present of the European, Latin America, African and Asian and Out There communities that define and enrich THE CITY. After lunch, we will find a quiet place to pause for a moment, and read.
