During the school year, students raise funds to support the Fountain of Mercy Shelter and Makripodis Secondary School in Kissi Town, Sierra Leone.

Each summer club advisor and English teacher, Jonah Weaver travels to Sierra Leone, volunteering his time teaching and working in Kissi Town.  He brings with him the funds raised by the students.   In June 2010 TMS students raised over $2455 through their participation in the Xterra Marin Headlands Trail Run. 

The donation from TMS was used to provide beds, text books, clothing, medicines, and a shelter garden to grow fresh vegetables.
