  • The Marin School finds a new home in San Rafael

    Sausalito, CA (Mar. 11, 2013) The Marin School (TMS), an independent high school in Sausalito, today announced that they have found a new home at 150 North San Pedro Road in the beautiful Santa Venetia Neighborhood in San Rafael. TMS evaluated dozens of available buildings between Sausalito and Novato; and even considered properties in San Francisco and the East Bay before deciding on the North San Pedro Road site.

    Local teacher nabs top awards in photo contest

    Sausalito has its fair share of talented artists and photographers, but local amateurs had a recent shot at fame with the city of Sausalito’s first annual amateur photo contest. The four-category contest, sponsored by Marinscope Newspapers, had 14 people enter a total of 58 photos, with the largest number of entries in the “Scenes from Sausalito” category.

  • Barbara J. Brown named as next head of The Marin School

    The Marin School’s Board of Trustees recently announced that it has hired veteran administrator Barbara J. Brown to become the school's next Head of School. She replaces Peter T. Esty, who stepped in as the interim Head of School during the search process.
