Annual Fund & Capital Campaign

 

Our goal at The Marin School is to offer the best possible education for our students.

Our Annual Fund (AF) supports that goal by making up the difference between tuition and the actual cost of operating the school. The success of this annual solicitation relates directly to faculty salaries, curricular and extracurricular programs, financial aid, site maintenance, and much more. Every gift is appreciated and helps us meet our goal of 100% participation.

 This year's Capital Campaign has been designed to support TMS' transition to our new home in San Rafael.  The success of TMS’ transition relies on you, and each TMS family, stretching and digging deep with contributions to our new site, particularly now and through June 30, 2013. If we work together, our students and faculty can settle into our new campus quickly, creating an atmosphere in which our students will thrive from the very first day of classes.   Now more than ever, TMS students deserve nothing less than our best efforts. Consider a capital campaign donation five times larger than your average annual fund contribution. For some, $250 is a stretch, while others can comfortably give $10,000 or more. We are working vigilantly to keep our construction costs as low as possible, so that every donation will benefit our current students’ transition and make a difference for TMS students for the next 20 years.

Thanks to the generosity of our parents, friends and alumni, the 2010/2011 Annual Giving Campaign raised over $130,000.

We are deeply grateful to all who supported The Marin School in the 2011/2012 campaign, and to those who continue to support the school, its unique mission, and its students, faculty/staff, and program.

If you would like to participate in our Annual Campaign Effort through donation of Securities, please follow instructions below, and thank you in advance for your generosity.

If you are planning to donate securities to The Marin School, first please notify Ellen Beller in the Business Office at 415-6339-9336 x 101 or ebeller@themarinschool.org and Suzanne Alpert at 415-339-9336 x 131 or salpert@themarinschool.org prior to any transaction. If this is not done prior to a transaction, the identity of the donor may be in jeopardy and the gift may not be received into our account. Please let them know the name of the security being transferred, the name of your broker, and the number of shares.
