Director of Admissions & Financial Aid

I grew up in a little coastal town in Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) with a BA in Journalism and Communications Studies. I wanted to get away from the Oregon rain so I moved to the Bay Area in 2003 and fell in love with it. I love that you can go on a hike on Mt. Tam and then into the city for dinner or a Giants game that night – such a great place to live!

I have worked for independent schools in the area since 2004 and I’m delighted to join The Marin School community. I love working in Independent schools admissions because it offers me the opportunity to meet people from all over the area. I am especially excited about joining The Marin School community because my stepdaughter graduated from TMS in 2009. I’ve seen first-hand what a great faculty and program exist here at TMS.

When I’m not at work, I love to be with my family. We love to keep busy with all the area has to offer – hiking, heading out to Stinson beach (one of our favorites!), a day in the city or a movie night at home.
